Why Artemis Assessment & Treatment Centre?

Throughout the many cycles of our lives, we face challenges.

Children may have learning difficulties or attentional concerns, or need to adjust to a grandparent's death or parents' divorce. Adolescents struggle to develop their own identities, separate from their parents, while coping with peer and academic pressures. Adults can suffer from a variety of stresses: from marital and professional issues to caring for children with emotional problems. With all of this, life may sometimes seem full of problems with few answers. At Artemis Assessment & Treatment Centre, our experienced psychotherapists offer compassionate solutions to life's challenges. Clients often tell us how we helped them achieve a level of confidence and strength they hadn't known before - and the peace of mind they need to cope with problems and to move ahead with their lives. Dr. Jill M. Pickett, owner and director of Artemis Assessment & treatment Centres, has a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and more than 25 years of experience as a registered psychologist working with children with learning disabilities, attention deficit disorder, emotional and behavioural problems, and many other challenges. Dr. Pickett also has numerous professional presentations and publications to her credit.
